NJCPR Now Hiring for Two Full-Time Positions
Nicholasville Jessamine County Parks and Recreation (NJCPR) is currently accepting applications for two full-time positions within its parks maintenance department. These opportunities offer individuals the chance to contribute to the maintenance, improvement, and daily operations of parks and recreation facilities throughout Jessamine County.
From maintaining athletic fields and playgrounds to supporting community events and recreational programs, both positions play an important role in keeping public spaces safe, clean, and welcoming for residents and visitors.

Parks Maintenance Supervisor, Grounds
The Parks Maintenance Supervisor, Grounds, is a full-time position responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Parks Maintenance Grounds Crew and coordinating the maintenance of NJCPR parks, athletic fields, playgrounds, trails, facilities, landscaping, and other grounds.
Responsibilities include supervising maintenance personnel, coordinating grounds maintenance and landscaping, conducting facility inspections, overseeing improvement projects, and supporting seasonal operations and community events. This position helps ensure that NJCPR parks and facilities remain safe, attractive, and well maintained throughout the year.
The position offers a starting salary of $46,571.20, with applications due November 16, 2026.

Parks and Recreation Maintenance Worker I
The Parks and Recreation Maintenance Worker I is a full-time position responsible for general maintenance, repairs, and upkeep of NJCPR facilities, equipment, and grounds.
Responsibilities include landscaping, mowing, trimming, cleaning park facilities, maintaining playgrounds and equipment, assisting with construction and improvement projects, and supporting recreation programs and special events. This position plays an important role in maintaining the quality and appearance of public recreational spaces throughout the community.
The position offers a starting pay of $17.10 per hour, with applications due November 16, 2026.
