Jessamine County proudly joins the National Association of Counties’ initiative and other communities across the nation in recognizing Operation Green Light for Veterans, November 4–11, 2025. This week is dedicated to honoring the brave men and women who have served in the U.S. Armed Forces and those now transitioning to civilian life.

Our veterans have made tremendous sacrifices to protect our freedom and continue to serve our communities in countless ways. As we show our gratitude, Jessamine County Fiscal Court encourages all residents and businesses to display a green light in a window to show support and appreciation for our nation’s heroes.

Jessamine County also proudly honors our local veterans with a heartfelt display of their photos on the Veterans Wall at the Courthouse. If you’d like to recognize a veteran by adding their photo, please bring it to the Judge Executive’s Office or call 859-885-4500 with any questions.
