1. Assistant Director
This full-time, salaried position supports the department’s leadership team and helps oversee daily and long-term operations. The Assistant Director also serves as acting director when needed.

Key Responsibilities:

Help manage parks, recreation programs, and historic sites

Supervise staff and operations at the Riney B Aquatic Center and athletic programs

Assist with budgeting, grant applications, and payroll processes

Attend public meetings and manage administrative tasks
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in recreation or related field

At least 3 years of experience in parks and recreation administration

Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
2. Recreation Program Supervisor
This full-time position focuses on developing and managing engaging recreation programs for all ages.

Qualifications:

2 years of experience in grounds or facility maintenance
