Join Jessamine County for the America250 Bell Ringing ceremony as we commemorate the historic vote for American independence on July 2, 1776. As part of the nationwide America250 celebration, this special event will honor the day the Continental Congress voted for independence through a ceremonial bell ringing led by 13 selected community members, recognizing the spirit and sacrifice that shaped our nation’s history.

• Location: Jessamine County Courthouse, Circuit Courtroom
• Admission: Free and open to the public
• Hosted by: Jessamine County Fiscal Court as part of the America250 Kentucky commemoration
• Ceremony: Thirteen selected individuals will ring bells in honor of this historic day, commemorating the vote for American independence on July 2, 1776.
