The Jessamine County Fiscal Court is the governing body of Jessamine County. It is responsible for setting policy, enacting ordinances, approving a budget, and overseeing county departments.
The Judge/Executive is elected as the top official in the County and serves a 4-year term. Find more information about the Judge/Executive’s duties here.

Regularly scheduled meetings are held the first, third and fifth Tuesdays of the month at 4:00 pm in the Circuit Courtroom. Special ‘Called Meetings’ are held with a 24-hour notice to the Jessamine Journal. Official Minutes from the Fiscal Court Meetings are located in the County Clerk’s Office.
