- How Do I?
I received my bachelor’s degree from Asbury College in Spanish and History Education and my Master’s Degree in Education from The Ohio State University. I taught in the Columbus Public School System for seven years. I worked at Asbury College as a Registrar, Director of Institutional Research and Assistant Professor of Education. I worked in the Jessamine County School System for 27 years as a teacher, Assistant Principal and Principal. I’m currently subbing for administrators in the school system.
I enjoy outdoor activities such as golf and hiking and I treasure times with family and friends. I have been married to my beautiful wife for 49 years. We have four children and 10 grandchildren. It’s an honor and privilege to serve the people of Jessamine County.
District 3 Borders Woodford County to the west and Fayette County to the north. It includes the western portion of Wilmore, KY where Kentucky Route 29 merges with US 68.
Keene Springs Hotel highlights the history of District 3, with Centennial Park and PGA tournaments at Keene Trace Golf Club showing off the area’s uniqueness.
Jessamine County is ideally set in the heart of Kentucky’s Bluegrass region. Rolling hills, horse farms, lush landscapes and a meandering river offer classic Kentucky vistas.
