Jessamine County Emergency Management Agency (EMA) serves the community by coordinating responses to emergencies and disasters such as floods, tornadoes, hazardous material spills, accidents and other crisis events. They are tasked with planning, training and managing emergency response personnel and resources in the event of a crisis event as well as coordinating with state and federal agencies. EMA also works to ensure the county is able to effectively respond to and recover from emergencies and disasters.
Jessamine County residents can sign up to receive important notifications from city and county officials. Residents can also opt in to receive severe weather alerts also from the National weather service.
